International Workshop on Lean Satellite Standardization

The International Workshop on Lean Satellite Standardization (IWLS2) will be held together with the 3rd IAA Conference on University Satellite Missions & CubeSat Workshop.

Friday, December 4th will be entirely dedicated to the IWLS2 Workshop organized by the Society of Japanese Aerospace Companies (SJAC) and Kyushu Institute of Technology, under the support of the Japanese Ministry of Trade and Industry through “Asia Standard and Certification Promotion Project”.

The registration is free of charge and it ensures: December 4th Workshop entrance, December 4th coffee breaks and lunch.

Other days technical sessions entrance, coffee breaks and lunches, cheese&wine party, guided tour, proceedings on CD are not included. If you want to participate to one or more of the not-included activities, please contact GAUSS LOC at conference@gaussteam.com

 

The International Workshop on Lean Satellite Standardization is coordinated by Prof. Mengu Cho from the Kyushu Institute of Technology in the frame of the NETS (Nano-satellite Environment Test Standardization) Project, an international collaborative effort to establish a global standard for testing of nano-satellites.

The purpose of this one-day workshop is to promote the standardization project further, based on the success of the previous workshops. The event intends to serve as an open forum for people interested in standardization in the area of small-scale satellites.
