The event, aimed at illustrating three different approaches to space operations, will allow G.A.U.S.S. to present the point of view of a small, dedicated Company. The other two approaches will be the large agency one, presented by EUMETSAT and the commercial operator experience, of Telespazio VEGA Deutschland GmbH.

G.A.U.S.S. will depict how they contribute to the carry out of a space mission, specifically the role played as ground operator and the experience gained during several micro-satellites launches. G.A.U.S.S. will then provide – to University students and young professionals interested in the field of space operations of big satellites and cubesats – a company insight on the various issues and steps behind the preparation of a satellite launch.

Chantal Cappelletti, G.A.U.S.S. manager, satellite projects expert and Associate Professor of the Aerospace Engineering at the University of Brasilia, will give the lecture. Moreover, the representatives will guide all participants to design their own mission as a role playing.
